It’s official! After years of work and months of waiting, we are now officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organization, and are currently recruiting applicants and accepting donations for our first Class of Takeoff Grant recipients! Listen to this episode to learn more.
We are SO VERY excited to announce that after seven months of waiting, we have finally received our determination letter from the IRS stating that we are now officially a public charity under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3)—which means all donations made to Plane Faith are tax-deductible.
This great news also means we are now ready to ramp things up with regard to our Takeoff Grants. We are looking for both applicants and donors to put together and fund our first class of Takeoff Grant recipients.
So, if you know of a prospective missionary pilot who has completed their flight training, been accepted for service by an approved mission aviation organization, and could use some help with their flight training debt, please send them our way!
If you would like to help us fund these Takeoff Grants which are designed to get prospective missionary pilots to the mission field faster and to keep them there longer without the financial stress that always accompanies debt, please consider partnering with us by making a one-time or a recurring donation.
Thanks for being a part of what we are doing and for your help sharing the Plane Faith story with others! We are excited about what God is going to do in the coming months and years! Stay tuned.
